Jellyfin app for Android has been available for a while now. Since moving from Kodi to Plex, I have been using Roku devices for their simplicity and responsiveness. So I am able to share my content with with my friends and family, who do not have Plex Pass. The most awesome thing about Jellyfin is that it is free. One of the new media server that I have become fascinated about is Jellyfin. On these media server platforms, I have also been trying out various other media server apps. But, I have also tried and used several types of hardware for Plex media server. Plex has been my main media server for years the last few years. It is an actively developed project with several wonderful developers contributing their time to make it better every day.

also, they way the new plex on roku is laid out is horrible, now you have to keep clicking thru the playlist just to get to the end, and you have to click over to the right then click down then right again, just to get to your playlists, whereas before you could just click on movies, or playlists, right away from the main page, and if you wanted to get to the movies at or near the end of a playlist all you have to do was click up, and the playlist would scroll the the end of the playlist very quickly, and now you can only scroll down from the top of the list which takes forever.Jellyfin is a free open-source media server.
all my videos that i have on a NAS, use to play fine and smoothly, now with this new version, none of my videos will play, i keep getting error messages, saying that my server is not strong enough to play any of my videos, how is that so, when before it worked just fine.
